- A mixed gender cast that doesn't require romance, just friendship.
- Female characters that are fleshed out to be human beings like their male counterparts.
- Snarky cats
- Cats not causing Cuteness Proximity to happen.
- Male characters with "stereotypically feminine" interests.
- Dogs being seen as pure evil for once instead of cats.
