Cannibalism is very ritualized and never done without the request of the spud that's to be cannibalized. It's the ultimate romantic act for one potato to say to another, "I would like you to peel and boil/bake me" (and you NEVER boil a potato that wants to be baked, or vice versa. That's almost like cheating, I mean fuck).

We have entire telenovelas (our native language is Spanish) devoted to the slow progression of a relationship from flirtation (which usually involves using one's eyes to cry) to cannibalism.

Anyway, point is, I hate my in-laws, so I'd never boil them.

Your comment about crying being seen as flirtation makes me wonder if you have inter-vegetable relations with onions.

We do love us some onions, those sexy beasts. All those layers...so much to peel...

And heeeeellllls no on sticking 'em in the ground. Man, they'll sprout, and then there'll be even more of them, and who wants that?
