Same. I pay like 14 euro for 4 hours of calling and more texts than I can ever use up. With even a minimal data plan added to that, it would be over 20. Also, the phone itself is dirt cheap - I got if for like 15 euro second hand. If it got stolen or lost, it would be annoying, but no massive loss.

I'm not ruling ever getting one, but man, I hate that it's expected.
