people getting super upset about what secrets make it into the main post? does a fairy die every time a secret that "doesn't belong" winds up there?

like I can understand having standards but i see some people get so upset and demand things of case over it and i'm like "why? why does this matter so much to you?" It just seems so...empty.

because there isn't enough secrets to actually complain about their content so they project their anger at what makes it

I know! Especially for repeats. If it's an obvious repeat from last week, okay, fine. But if it's *just maaaayyybe* a repeat, or a repeat from a year ago that nobody remembers, WHO CARES if it's in the main post or not? It even might be fun to discuss it again!

I am constantly surprised by the warring "F!S is dying" in conjunction with "must police the secrets!"

Exactly! People don't even know it's actually a repeat, they just have ~*~*~woooo suspicions~*~*~ But they can't be bothered to check for themselves, they have to report it in case... I don't know, we get an old repeat and the world ends in chaos and flame?

OH. That would make sense.

I dunno, man. People are really quick to run to case and be all, "I think 3 is a repeat omg omg!" when they're not even sure. Why bother? If it's a repeat, people will notice and probably not respond as much. The people who don't realize it's a repeat and want to respond will do so anyway, and that sounds fine to me, too. No harm done.

I never understood it, either. I'm just glad thee are secrets.
