Ah well, something is better than nothing, I'll have to check that out tomorrow, thanks for the link. :D

Darren Gough was impressive, but Gethin was so wonderful, and I really wanted him to win something. I still wonder if he'd have made the finals if Matt hadn't slipped up in the way he did - I know he was popular before, but he won an epically huge amount of sympathy for that.

Gethin should have at least won something. About the finals, I don't know. I honestly believe that it was too close to call. If Matt hadn't slipped up, it would have still been the same dance off in the semi's. Unless Letitia won that dance off (which, since hypothetically, was against Matt, having not received the epic sympathy vote), then it would probably have gone the same way.

The question that I've been asking is, if Kelly hadn't withdrawn, and there were three people in the final, would it still have been the same three? :D

Oh, definitely, crazy close. On their dancing alone, Matt and Gethin were probably neck and neck when they were at their best, Alesha was stunning, and Letitia was just lovely, which is why the "what if" interests me.

The question of what would have happened if there were three in the final is definitely intriguing. For one thing, would they have had to learn so many dances? XD I think, for my money, it probably would have been Alesha, Matt and Gethin again. Brendon wasn't really on the ball with his choreography (really don't know what was going on there) and Kelly was great but she didn't seem to catch the public attention in the way the others did, which is a shame, because she seems really nice - all the magazine and newspaper articles I saw were about Alesha, Matt, Gethin and, of course, Kate Garraway. That's just my opinion though, of course. ;D

They would still have had to do at least three (favourite Latin/Ballroom and showdance) but they might not have had to do the Judges Choice or the Viennese Waltz.

I agree with you about Brendon. I think he got a little cocky because Kelly was such a good dancer and just assumed that the judges wouldn't be marking them on his choreography. Although the third lift in the American Smooth really highlighted the fact that either he wasn't paying much attention to what he was doing, or that he knew and thought that he could flout the rules. Still, I'm not sure -even though Camilla provided great choreography throughout, and Flavia's was mentioned several times as being some of the hardest routines in the shows- that Gethin or Matt could beat Kelly in a dance off.

Ah, poor Kate. I think that she was just glad to finally be leaving in one piece. :D I feel sorry for her, actually, since the judges could have been a bit more diplomatic about the fact that she wasn't as good as the other celebrities, and the tabloids really gave her hell about it.
