So...because you were in a relationship that matched your view of SasuSaku, and it didn't work out, you have to look down on everyone who thinks the version of it Kishimoto presents in his manga could work? :/

'Cause, um, the secret wasn't about people not liking the pairing. It was about the way I feel the fandom looks down on people who enjoy the pairing. Obviously you've got personal reasons that bias you against it, and that's fine. It happens sometimes. That doesn't mean that anyone who does like it doesn't understand how relationships work or something. Which I know you didn't directly say there, but considering what you were replying to, the implication is there...

I'm saying, I can't see anyway it could work out, happily, in the long run. I don't think it could work, period, no matter what version it was, I just happen to have more first hand experience with it (And I'm not like...horridly bitter about my 13 year old love life, it just fits pretty perfectly. I doubt Sakura's horridly bitter about hers either). I don't think it as strong as what was written in your secret, I doubt you're using em for any self fulfillment, but yeah.

So yeah, kinda, I guess...? I'm not really "in" the fandom, but I can see where they're coming from. I can see why it'd be frustrating, but I dunno...I'm sure you understand relationships perfect. I do, and I still love Haku/Zabuza, knowing it'd be horridly fucked up. (Which is an extreme example, but I hope you get what I'm sayin) I don't think it's right to look down on anyone, as long as anyone in pretty grounded with what they ship and realize what it is. (I.E. I take all the shit about my Irukashi ship with a grin, because yeah...they meet twice, I know it's like "OMG they talked!" and I like it anyway) And I ttly just realize both ships I mentioned were yaoi...well sorta. If Haku counts XD. Which isn't all I ship. They just were the better examples

So I guess, as rambling through that, I think it's unfair for them to label it wrong to like...trick you (Which is probably what some of them are doing, especially with every experience I've had with Saku/Naru shippers I apologize in advanced to all sane ones), but hell, I get looked down on for tons of shit I ship and just shrug and move along. If they judge you for that, it's a quick way to weed out people not worth knowing.
