Hah, I guess so! I randomly watched about half of it a couple of months ago (it was in our house but had never been opened) and really enjoyed it. I had stuff to do, blah blah blah, then a few days later I went to watch it again and my younger sister joined me. She really liked it too, and we both cracked up at the "woman's intuition" scene. And, well, I slash pretty much everything, but the 'ship appealed to her, too. It just seemed so incredibly obvious. The canon jealousy, the mirroring of some of their scenes with those of Roger/Eve, etc. Watching the documentary thing and learning that Martin Landau played the role from a homosexual angle only made the whole thing 100 times funnier. I was really disappointed that I couldn't find any fic/fandom/fans online at all.

And that was the really long version. Sorry. I'm just so excited to find someone else who 'ships it. =D

I'm forgoing secretness here because it's not much of a secret. But yeah, I watched it for a class (though I'd seen pieces of it on TCM before). Anyway, throughout the thing I was basically going, "Hey, that's Martin Landau? Holy crap, he was pretty cute when he was younger." And then when he said the "woman's intuition" line, my jaw dropped (even though I already knew there was plenty of gay in Hitchcock's films, this was an especially obvious reference). Major props to Landau for reading the script and seeing it that way from the start, although I've read that James Mason was pretty annoyed by it when he found out. Hahaha. :D

Anyway, yeah, I have one fic idea... and some art maybe, someday. :/ It is disappointing that no one else has done anything yet. But I was pretty sure no one else would be interested, heh. Better to be wrong...
