Not personally, but the FF7 house is always a good reread. And stuff surrounding Cassie Claire always amuses, especially given her main stream success now.

Laptopgate. Never forget.

I knew someone who claimed she knew the subject of the FF7 house. She also claimed that the writer of the thing was also nuts and exaggerated everything.

This knowledgeable person has a history of internet infamy as well. Not BNF status, but she was the star of a popular old wank.

That laptop was so not worth it. I'm sure she's upgraded her equipment several times since then, but that dead hunk of old tech keeps following her around and haunting her.

It's not about acquiring laptops. It's about ethics in acquiring laptops...

Holy shit, I never even heard about that FF7 house thing, and I'd been pretty heavily into that fandom in the same timeframe. That was a hell of a read.

Before multiples, headmates, and fictionkin became a thing, there was FF7 House. Essentially a girl gets sucked into a pseudo-cult in which everyone believes they are the (reincarnations? idek) of FF7 characters. They are all horrible, emotionally abusive people.

It's like watching a train wreck.
