This one's a little weird but my idea of an angel actually comes from an episode of Criminal Minds. The bad guy in the episode had three personalities and one was an angel named Raphael who was uncaring and righteous and it always seemed to fit. I think the quote in the show was, "Live or die, they don't care. As long as it's God's will."

Castiel from his very first two episodes had this feeling too a bit so I think of the Cas from those episodes too. But that CM angel is definitely what I think of first.

That was the guy who kidnapped Reid right? He was a great character (played by...Van Der Beek?).

Yup, that's the guy. Even though he kidnapped Reid, I felt so bad for the guy at the end. Kudo-job for the script/actor.

That was a very good storyline! Wish the aftermath had been followed more though.

I'm not a huge fan of drug-storylines so I was okay with them dropping it. (It seemed like there was a production issue surrounding it, I think?) At least they never forgot it. Seasons later, Reid still won't take pain meds because he was addicted.
