I agree 100% on Puck (I don't remember Oberon that well). But all the characters on Gargoyles were awesome. I don't recall their MacBeth either. I need to rewatch it.

You definitely should. I just rewatched them last year and I think they held up pretty well considering. I think they're all available on YouTube.

(MacBeth was the guy who was connected to Demona and was trying to kill her. He couldn't die until she did. They spent five episodes retelling the entire Shakespearean play but with Gargoyles helping him get the throne and the Weird Sisters as the witches.)

MacBeth is probably my favorite character on that show, right after Xanatos and Puck.

I appreciate him so much more now that I'm older. But after learning what happened to him, I always felt bad for him and wanted him to have a happy ending.

Yeah, he's definitely one of the most tragic characters on the show... which is fitting given his Shakespearean origins.

At least he got a partial redemption arc towards the end and is BFFs with King Arthur in the extended comic verse.
