Oh wow, I'm really glad you liked it! It is a fantastic story, isn't it? I'm not someone who cries very much, but honestly, every time I reread the story, I get some dust in my eye. And yet there's something so incredibly hopeful about it. That's what makes it the quintessential classic science fiction story - the incredible hope that's in it.

I mean, Jesus, just that last line. Sturgeon was a genius.

(How was that Andy Weir novel, by the way?)

The Andy Weir novel was amazing. I actually teared up several times during it. Can't really say too much without spoiling it but I would recommend it.
