Not more meaningful, but the relationship (and break-up) affects more than just the couple.

And it's not like the kids have any real choice in being there. I mean, it's one thing to think about a couple's relationship falling apart, but it's a little different when you think about children getting hurt because of it.

it'd be a hell of a lot worse for the kids if they were the only reason their parents were staying together.
