Although it's unrealistic, how about more secrets :U

Really though, even though I'm shit at it, I just like when discussion threads get big and active. The fandom ones are good for this imo, when folk find someone to share ep thoughts or meta, and gather recs. And RECS. I miss successful rec threads, but that might just be because they probably happen when I'm not around. murphy's laaaaw >:U

Yeah, twenty's my ideal, but we're been hovering under ten for awhile now. :/

I'd be down for more recs though. The foreign film one was fun. This place usually has enough breadth that we'll get some variety if the recs are general enough.

Let me just mention, obligatorily I might add, that back in my day we had up to—

Twenty was a pretty good rate since it wouldn't take long to read and respond. But whenever I come on a day with such a low number, and can't find one that piques my interest, it's rather bumming. I know it's entitled to think so, but wevs. As long as GC still gets the traffic for things to read, I'm still good.

I made two last week! Well... I actually made them last last week, but I forgot to post them. My problem is that I don't really have "secrets" anymore. Almost much everything I post here I wouldn't mind posting unanon.

Nowadays it's more about finding that nice balance between embellishing stuff to the point of being ridiculous/called a troll and being plain boring. And then some stuff I'm hardcore vocal about, but no one cares anymore (e.g. Steven Moffat), so I don't even bother posting about those things anymore.

One of my secrets already got decent responses this week though, so here's hoping the other will bring the same.

Yeahhhhhh that's more than I've submitted in a good long time orz
I have an ongoing backlog from 2012 to get around to, maybe, eventually, idk. /hypocrite

I do hear you on lacking actual secretive secrets. Finding the context to bring them up is what I find harder at times (eg: suddenly shouting about a flaming crush on Rita Repulsa). Plus a posted secret gathers more attention for that short bit of "look at me! I'm wacky!" moment than a collapsed comment imo.
