You can find most of the cool people there. In fandom secrets you can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. "Take it easy" is the fandom secrets motto, for example, that's how laid back it is there. Show up if you want to have a good time. Another good reason to show up is if you want to hang out with friends.

Hanging out in a conservative fandom space would diminish the fun. Here, it seems like the fact that conservatives merely exist is enough to send some people into frothing rages. It's beautiful.

as an anon who has in the past given you shit about politics: i think the person who is doing suicide encouragement is extremely fucked up. as much as i disagree violently with your politics, i think you are a good poster and i'm going for more of a friendly vibe of giving people shit and less hostile. so, sorry that other anon is being such a wiener.

It's pretty clear that the other anon is the one with the problem and not me. They were encouraging other people to commit suicide, and it's obvious that something is wrong with them.

...This is said with some pretty heavy sarcasm, right? I DO feel like there are a lot of awesome, friendly people here, and you can definitely chill and relax, but we still have our share of wank and harassment. (Any community is going to really, so it's not like f!s is special in that regard.)
