Working on a holiday present project. I just wish the people who it's going to had actually contributed their input/preferences when I asked for them 3 months ago. So now I'm just going on memory. :\

And with only one person having answered my survey, the finished project isn't going to be nearly as awesome without everyone else's memories/contributions. Two people say they have some scans for me and that they probably will submit my questionnaire, but my rough deadline was November 15 so they are just being butts. Butts with full-time jobs, but still. It's been more than 3 months.

It's a gift. I took it upon myself, really. Basically, at the end of the month it's the 10 year anniversary of the beginning of the D&D campaign that my friends and I played in high school/early college. What I'm doing is making a sort of digital scrapbook, the main portion of which is the transcription of the campaign journal that I kept for the first 2 years of the game, and my memories of what happened after that point.

It will also have art (most of it by me, because I'm the most prolific artist of the group, but I also have some by 2 other members), photos of a few of our gatherings, and more. I WANTED it to have some recollections from every player (a total of 11, although there were never more than 8 + DM at any point in the game), of some of their favorite memories, funniest moments, etc. and some questions about their characters. I also asked for their art/photos/etc. if they had any.

The other thing I did was ask about character appearances, so I could do special new art of each character for the scrapbook. That's why I set a deadline in November, so I could draw everybody, a total of 16 player characters.

All I've gotten is the questionnaire and some art (including several duplicates with what I already had) from my lovely friend S., and nothing else. I don't want to be a pain nagging busy people over a really silly little project that I'm just doing for fun to commemorate the campaign. But I wish people had seemed more interested in it.

I bugged them a fair amount, since September. :\ I'mma do a "last chance!" email tonight, I think. I need around a month to make everything, and I'm also gonna do art for F!S Secret Santa, sooo...
