ot but for me, watching the Fantasia Hippo dance as kid was the first instance of my big fat attraction towards heavier women/feminine people

Sort of on this (off) topic, I always like cartoons of voluptuous women, drew heaps as a kid, and couldn't wait to hit puberty so I would get boobs and look like them... and then I got my mom's a cups. I've learned to love them, but still a little bit disappointed. I also love chubby men, and remember liking them in cartoons when I was younger.

So yeah, it wasn't cartoons that gave me by body image issues in terms of weight loss, that was all my mom and my peers.
