I think the thing that I like most about Love, Actually is how it pays lip service to gays and lesbians by having people say "he or she" and "girlfriend or boyfriend" but there isn't actually a gay or lesbian couple in it because that would be going too far.

...oh wait I don't like that at all.

I still think Rick Mark's storyline would have been better if he were in love with Peter, not Juliet. When I saw it in theatres, I was convinced that was where the story was going when she showed up and wanted to see the wedding footage.
