One Piece has a heck of a lot to recommend it, but I'll admit that I've been getting more and more put off by the way it treats the female characters as time goes on. (The biggest straw to date was probably how Rebecca responded to facing Diamante in the flower field... Ugh.)

I mean, when you compare it to the other major series like Bleach or Naruto, it looks pretty darned progressive, and it's positively utopian compared to something like E-Robot, but that still doesn't make it *good*, just one of the better choices in a very poor field.

Yeah, the existence of Attack on Titan (and Claymore, and maybe a few others) is why I put 'one of the better options' instead of 'the best option.'
