Re: Love triangles?

(Anonymous) 2014-12-06 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Being the contrary person I am, my solution to love triangles is to ship them all with other people. For example: if A and B are fighting over C, I'll start shipping A with D, B with E, and C with F. There, everyone's happy and I don't have to watch A and B's tantrums anymore.

In fact, now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever shipped A/C or B/C, or even A/B or A/B/C. Huh. Am I the only one that does this?

This post actually made me laugh IRL. What an awesome attitude.

I like your way of thinking.

Depends on the triangle, but yeah, I do this a lot too. If there's going to be this much hysteria and drama and competition and angst in a relationship, then all I want is for everybody involved to fuck off somewhere else for a while, date other people, have other friends, and maybe once they've all calmed down a bit and figured out what they want they can come back later and see if any of the old options is worth another go.

I get frustrated with love triangles a lot.
