No. Just general perversion of capitalism by large corporations that regularly ask the government to distort the market in their favor, but but denounce ordinary workers for exercising their own duties and rights under capitalism.

But is that a perversion? It seems entirely consistent of capitalism to act to advance one's narrow, short-term self-interest.

Let's not confuse idealistic marketism with Kapitalismus in practice. One's fellow men are the landscape upon which Kapital wages its battles. Without empathy, there is no fair play.

With empathy, the machine becomes something else.
