(Anonymous) 2014-12-09 02:55 am (UTC)(link)The hardest part of sewing a dress from a pattern is surprisingly cutting the fabric. So many things can go wrong. At least with the sewing itself you can rip it out.
I've been sewing and knitting, off and on my whole life, but I don't come close to any of those Sewing Bee competitors. In RL I know some people who can, and it's a real skill.
The level of detail Patrick and May look for blows my mind.
