I'm a skeptic/atheist, but well

When I was five or so, my family was living in a hotel. It was late at night and I was waiting by the bathroom door on the floor waiting for my mother to come out (She was taking a shower) The bathroom was close to the bed, and the bed was facing a window. I was looking at the wall behind the bed when a...being of light emerged from it, running. It ran over the bed, through the window, and up. I started screaming at this point and my mother ran out.

It's still pretty vivid in my head. It was kind of like the AOL logo guy, only made of white-ish blue light with rainbows streaking through it. I still don't know what the fuck it was.
