Because these two are the golden standard that all other old people bffs should strive for!

I thought that was Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan

That's true...ideal is a mix of both, I guess!

Or Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart *playing* Statler and Waldorf! Who would play who, I wonder...

THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN.

Personally, I'd rather have future elders, Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, audition fight them for the roles.

Ofc time shenanigans are impossible at the minute, so I'll happily over enjoy the image of Stewart and McKellen as muppets.

I agree!

Don't worry, it's a logical conclusion.

(Anonymous) 2014-12-10 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
I see absolutely nothing wrong with this, OP. It sounds awesome, in fact.

(Anonymous) 2014-12-10 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
I can only hope me and my BFF will be that cool (albeit slightly nicer) when we're old.

*tries to come up with a clever, in-charater Statler-and-Waldorf burn response to this secret*

*fails miserably*

Anyone better at jokes than me wanna give it a shot?

(Anonymous) 2014-12-10 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
"Well, at least you're trying."

"Very trying!"

"OHOHOHOHO!!"

(Okay, it wasn't that good. Next!)

Oh look, an excuse to post this

Best Christmas Carol.

(Anonymous) 2014-12-10 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
This might be the first Christmas-seasonal thing I have willingly watched all year. (seriously, radio? switching to carols the day after Halloween? Humbug!)

And seconded for best Christmas Carol.
