Flash Gordon. The one with Max Von Sydow and Brian Blessed. I realise that it is considered bad and campy, but I enjoy it unironically. If ever I feel down I sling it on the DVD and enjoy a little time in a land where fun and colour are celebrated and a roaring adventure is had by all.

I also enjoy Star Trek The Motion Picture. I think it is an awesome mood piece. The music, the effects, just the whole feel of it. Watch it in a dark room on a soft sofa or recliner, after partaking something in the mind altering range of substances (if legal in your jurisdiction, of course, not advocating you abusing opiates or cannaboids if you don't have them on a legal prescription) and just soak in a sensory treat.

I haven't watched Flash Gordon in a long time but I liked it too. :)
