Michael Caine is in Jaws: The Revenge, which I have yet to see, but plan to. Jaws 3 was Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr.

Hah, I clearly blocked one out. Although Dennis Quaid has his charms!

He's in Jaws 4. Jaws 3 was filmed in 3D and used bluescreen CSo instead of greenscreen CSO for its effects. Jaws 4 was bad with the roaring shark, and the super-sonic shark speeds, but the character acting in and the effects (apart from having the shark roar) were actually decent. Not as bad as it was made out. Jaws 3 on the other hand, sorry OP, was a disaster that tried to leverage the Jaws franchise into the lucrative teenslasher genre with lots of bad bluescreen CSO (and if you spotted the problem with bluescreen when dealing with lots of blue water -and a lot of blue in the clothing because it was the 1980s and sea blue was an in-color- then you are one up on its director) and bad 3D even for the 1980s, which has aged about as well as any other "hip" teenslasher movie from the 80s. At least Jaws 4 moved back to having a cast full of adults.

I feel like you might be mixing Jaws 2, which indeed had a ton of teenagers on sailboats and Jaws 3, which was pretty much all about the adult Brody brothers (well, one in college), and the guests at Seaworld, who were really just set dressing and shark fodder (and not teenagers).
