How do you feel about movies that are in color but were made in the era when many films were still black and white, like Gone with the Wind or some of Hitchcock's later films? Is it the time period that puts you off or something about the black and white itself?

A little of both? Honestly, I mostly just get bored. I'm mostly a scifi or fantasy or action fan. I need some excitement or something fantastical. I don't think it is strictly the black and white because I do like B movies and classic scifi a lot and I like Schindler's List (in a "its a good movie but super depressing" kind of way). Not at all a Gone with the Wind fan and Hitchcock is just okay, so it probably is more the time period.
