I mean, Korra's nice and all, but c'mon you can't be that dense to think someone who isn't familar with the show won't make unfavorable assumptions about an adult watching it. You and I know, it's an alright show, but it's incredibly anime-looking and that usually means kid's cartoon or hentai to your average joe.

OP was already watching cartoons at the gym; their primary problem with what they were already watching was "screamy anime teens". And from the sounds of the other comments in the thread, OP is more concerned about their show being heard than seen, in which case people would likely hear a lot of ethical dilemmas and fantasy political drama if they happened to overhear - but not see - anything in the Avatar franchise. Maybe that won't work for OP, but maybe it will. I made a suggestion that approaches their problem a bit more laterally than the other suggestions I made, and I leave it up to OP to figure out if it works for them or if it lacks in the criteria they need.
