I'm not such a big fan of Larsa/Penelo, though I used to be. I like it as much as I do Vaan/Penelo, so RW didn't bother me much other than the "I NO WE WAZTED TIEM IN THE FURST GAME SO HEAR'S SUM CANNONS FOR YOU." Yeah, no. Fanon Vaan/Penelo > canon Vaan/Penelo. They worked so much better as a family dynamic.

ANYWAY, what I really am trying to say is that I know what you mean about shipping pairings that hve no chance whatsoever of being anywhere close to canon or happening at any point. ONDORE/DRACE WHY DO YOU TAUNT ME SO?

I agreed. They're sort of cute in RW, but I would have liked them better as Platonic Big Brother and Big Sis to Filo and Kytes than MOM AND DAD or something ._.

Mine is Cid/Ashe. ...yes, Dr. Cid. There's just something about the way things can look in their cutscenes that is really, really hot when taken out of context. (YOU LUST FOR THE STONE, AMIRITE? ;D)

Me too. I really liked the sibling thing they had until it became... incest. Do not want. I wouldn't have minded Larsa/Penelo canon though. Thing is, I can't ship Vaan with anyone, really. Boy's thick as a one-foot-tall brick wall. Maybe when he grows up a bit and becomes a bit more emotionally mature (and I do think he can love, I just don't think he can properly understand romantic love when he's so busy trying to play Big Manly Shirtless Sky Pirate). One day I vow to attempt really epic Vaan/Fran spanning at least ten years, but that's off in the distance for now, and until then he will always be Aladdin with a Hero Worship Complex to me.

Not that I don't love him. Oh boy, do I love him.

Cid/Ashe? xD Don't think I could get into it other than fuel to the fire of Balthier/Ashe, but it certainly sounds interesting. Here's a kicker: Balthier/Judge of Wings. I want it. No, seriously. (Srsly!)

FFXII's my main fandom and I'm a pretty hearty shipper by... uh, heart, so I ship pretty... heartily. (See: more varied adjectives, use of.) I would certainly like to read some kinky Cid/Ashe, though. xD Going to fandom hell in a really awesome handbasket!

See, the only way I could see it happening would be some crazy snowfly mindfuck or a complete AU where Vaan and company didn't rescue her from the Leviathan, so instead of executing her Vayne found a... military/PR use for her. And she met up with Cid. And somehow, it happened. I don't expect to find it, but lol, it provides some nice mental images 8D
