Yeeeaah this is my take on it.

What about someone who is not X-*insert description here*, but is very close to someone who is? Are they still banned from writing a character as X, even if it makes complete sense in the context of their story? Where's the cutoff for how much X they need to have personally experienced in order for them to write a character who is X?
