As someone who ships a lot of extreme rarepairs, I actually agree. I know too well the frustration of having nothing to read while juggernaut pairings get a smorgasbord, but I'm not entitled to having a smorgasbord of my own, and I don't want to give people the impression that I feel entitled.

I mean, if I pressed a button tomorrow that made everyone stop shipping Stony or Stucky or Sterek or whatever, they wouldn't move on to writing about my pairing of choice. Irritating as it might seem to me, they aren't doing anything wrong just by producing fanworks. So I try to keep my complaints to things juggernaut shippers do that is genuinely rude and obnoxious––like putting their novel length fic in the rarepair tag because they mention rarepair once in it.

Oh that is AWFUL! >.< Especially when it's mentioned once as super negative. Just, why bother? Just keep your hateful ass out of the tag for that ship like the rest of us are supposed to stay out of yours.

Yes, this is a pet peeve of mine. lol
