I seem to have an unpopular opinion in that the reason I don't like this casting choice is because I'm just not a fan of his acting. I don't think he's ugly. Maybe not my cup of tea, but not ugly. It has nothing to do with him being in everything. I just simply don't think he's that strong of an actor.

Ditto. The hype outweighs the substance, IMO. He makes a memorable Sherlock, but other things? Not so much.
