Elle is an awesome role model. And I say this as a woman who is not remotely like that at all. But our society has equal problems with forcing women into stereotypes and in devaluing the things that are stereotyped as female. Both are equally wrong. Women don't have to be that way, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with liking pink and frilly things. And Elle is brilliant and becomes an awesome lawyer and her enjoyment of traditionally girly things has no effect on that whatsoever.
