Hey, I never said to watch a show you don't enjoy. You don't want to watch, don't watch. I was just pointing out that the "barrier" the first anon mentioned wasn't really all that big compared to other shows out there.

What other shows require you to sit through 2 bad seasons to get to "the good stuff"? If they exist, they certainly shouldn't be recommended to people.

I think not so much that the first two were bad as it was the first two were, compared to the last airbender season that came before it, falling short. Soembody who never watched Airbender would probably say they were medicore to fair, people who's last exposure was Season 3 of Last Airbender would say they were bad.

Star Trek: The Next Generation. The first two seasons are more or less abysmal with some gems sprinkled througout (Code of Honor is probably the worst), but after that, seasons 3 - 6 are really really good.
