Whatever, punk.

I'm both very seriously leftist and pretty seriously pro-file-sharing; but I don't think, "all art and property should be free," the way you're saying.

Property should be publicly regulated for the public good (health, environmental issues, sustainability). That certainly isn't "free."

Artists would benefit from a higher general level of disposable income. If you can raise ral median incomes, and share profits more broadly, there can be money that can go to the arts. If real median incomes are dropping and/or costs of energy and necessities are rising, the arts suffer.
