Yeeaaah, no. Most surgeons are too worried about potential lawsuits to do that. My friend can't get a doctor to perform a hysterectomy on her and she's 27 years old.

That is on an abled bodied though. For people with disabilities, surgeons are much less worried. It is able bodieds that tent to sue when they inevitably change their mind in their late 30s. For the developmentally challenged, that isn't going to be an issue.

Even if someone has developmental disabilities, it still presents an ethical and legal problem and most states have very specific laws that doctors need to consult for it, which is why most doctors go ahead and try other solutions first.
