I don't get why people have to be so offended by what people do and don't believe in. It depresses me like you wouldn't believe that some people are so focused on their superiority that they have to tear everyone else down because of it. Like, who gives a shit if people believe in ghosts? Maybe they've lost people they love and it's the only way they can cope. Or maybe they believe that human beings have souls. Big deal. Does that honestly hurt anyone? And before some stupid fuck comes in with bullshit about how it's TOTALLY HARMFUL to themselves, yeah fucking right.

It goes both ways. People have the right to say what they believe, and to a certain degree, the right to argue it. That's not the right to yell at people or try to shut them up.

Being credulous and not requiring extraordinary proof for extraordinary claims isn't a good way to go through life. You're free to do it, of course, but it doesn't entitle you to never hearing anyone disagree with you about what a good idea it is.
