You really shouldn't. It took LoK 26 episodes to get beyond bad pacing and plotting, which is a big time investment. Plus it shat all over many of the AtLA characters and their accomplishments.

...Are you one of those people upset that Aang grew up to be a pretty terrible dad? Because it's totally not surprising that he did.

Yeah, the guy from a culture that deliberately doesn't do dads not doing the dad thing so well is pretty reasonable. And Katara didn't really have a dad or mom growing up so she wasn't a great wealth of experience herself.
