I don't quite know how I feel about commissioned fanart. On one hand, I don't like that people make money off others' intellectual property. On the other hand, I respect that art supplies can be expensive and all of that. But mostly I'm conflicted over the double standard of commissioned art but not fanfic. I am not sure why one should be okay to do but not the other. They both take time and resources.
