I quite like the term, if only because it puts the active emphasis of the thing you dislike on the ship itself and your own personal feelings towards it (i.e. "This is my NOTP.") rather than the tendency for passive blamey-judgemental "Omg how can anyone ship this?!"

I find NOTP pretty neutral as these things go.
