39. I'm a long-time Dark Is Rising fan, but I sort of keep it under wraps. The books were massively important to me when I was growing up too--I think that's why I keep quiet about it. Like you, I was pretty upset when I heard they were making a movie of it and, like you, I doubt I'll see it. What I saw in my mind and what I felt aren't the same as the story they'll tell in the film.

But, I just wanted you to know that there are others of us out here.
