The sheer ludicrousness of that description is enough to turn any player who holds in-character development valuable to their gaming away.

The game in question seems to be dominated by the mods themselves, though. It shouldn't come as a surprise they will moderate the game in favour of their own rules and desires. This alone makes for quite a sorry state of affairs where it comes to livejournal gaming.

I thiiink the point of the secret is that the Johnny Depp fangirls are ruining the show for this Sondheim fan? It's a little hard to tell, though.

Personally, I'm surprised--I've seen a lot of Sondheim fans gushing over the movie, but no rabid squealing Depp fangirls. Hell, when I went to see it opening night, there was a crowd cheering Sondheim's name on screen.

Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong...well, actually, the right places.

I think a lot of people also just don't realize that cutting 'down' instead of 'across' is the proper way to cut those arteries, because if you look at your wrist, all the visible veins are running down the length of your arm... so, the logical assumption (if you don't actually know where those arteries are, which the average person probably doesn't) would be to cut across the wrist. Even if it's the proper way to do it, cutting along the wrist does seem counter-intuitive.

I promise I'm not a creep or a cutter, I just tend to over think things! And have very pale wrists full of blue veins!
