I've seen so much hate for Ariana Grande and I really wonder why. I mean, it's okay to just not like a celebrity, but she seems like such a non-controversial, inoffensive (dare I say bland?) person to hate.

Having an opinion is not bashing her. Bashing her would be to leap into articles featuring her so that you can trash her music and image, and attempt to slut shame her to the world. I dislike the fuck out of Kim Kardashian and everything she chooses to do, but I tend to defend her when she's trashed in comments of any article. Because 99% of everything I've ever read refers to her "ugly ass" and the sex tape she made way back in the day. Hardly anything ever discusses the fact that she's famous for being famous and has nothing more than that to offer the world.

You are not the only one OP. I have a hard time articulating it without being offensive. Even though she is an adult it's like she promotes "underage sexuality - tween girls as a sexual fetish - 12 year olds in sparkly shirts with "Porn Star" written on the front" type mentality. I hate that I feel that way every time I see her picture but I just feel like she is promoting that image on purpose. It's not her fault that she looks young but it's like she works hard sexualizing it and it makes me sick.

the voice she uses to sing with, and act as her character Kat with, is this really high falsetto, and nothing like her real voice, from what I understand. Combine that with the fact that she looks way younger than she is, and it's a bit uncomfortably like sexualizing someone just hitting puberty.

Haha, I just read a story Ed Sheeran told about working the Victoria's Secret fashion show. There were these big, black, inflated globes for decoration, and Ariana Grande comes up to him and says, "I like big, black balls."

He was basically laughing at that the rest of the show.

I think she's having fun with her image.

I'm pretty neutral on Grande, she doesn't annoy me but I can see why she annoys others and really, I think some feminists feel like they need to love and praise every woman to be doing feminism right, You don't. It's fine not to like someone or a celebrity, it's only shitty if your disliking them for bigoted, prejudiced reasons or if your being spiteful about it. You're clearly doing neither of these things OP, so don't worry.

Her image is annoying and she makes me feel like a creep when I watch her. Don't get me wrong. I'd totally do her (and I'd do her RIGHT) but if she put that baby-doll act on in bed then I'd have to send her home.

But, sex aside, her music is pleasant and melodious. And her voice is stunning. I think she stole it from Mariah Carey. She should not give it back.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I adore Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, Beyonce, Britney, etc. But I like, viscerally despise Arianna and I'm not even entirely sure why. Just something about her voice and her whole persona pisses me off.
