Sexual objectification of men and women don't have the same connotations, though. One is done much more frequently than the other, and female characters are more often reduced to those traits.

Other than that, I'm with you, though. I'm a woman and I don't mind objectification and fanservice (as long as it's not overdone as to be detrimental to the character), hot people be hot. I just wish it was more equal opportunity.

I love Bayonetta, for example! She's always supremely control, she is the badass of the game and her sexuality is presented so outrageously that it comes around to being fun to me.
