She really was. I don't get the love either.

God, neither do I. I didn't' find her terrible, but how she is the most popular character and over Satsuki no less! is completely beyond me.

I think the only times I may have laughed is her going down that slide and those little asides.

I didn't hate Mako, but I certainly didn't think she was the best either. I just figured she was the token 'comic relief' character and dealt with it. I sure as hell don't get the love though.

The popularity of this fucking character was really the first sign that me and that fandom were not going to see eye to eye on anything.

I'm just curious because I gave the anime up pretty quick. But god she was annoying, and I don't understand how and or why she became favorite...
