My unpopular opinion: I think you're right, but I don't think it should matter so much.

When it comes to race, so much of that is influences beyond our control. And I feel like it's pointless to pretend you don't prefer what you prefer. Be kind to others, but I think people of other races deserve someone who legitimately finds them attractive rather than someone who is just pretending to.

Age is a different story if it involves anyone underage. But if it's over the age of consent, it's generally fine with me honestly.
