I am an autistic person and I always groan when I see a tumblr handle with "autistic" in it.

Because in my experience the people who do that are annoying fucks who tend to use their disorder as an excuse.

Also I personally don't get why you would want to define yourself that way. There's a lot of things I wouldn't mind being known for. Autism isn't one of them. Don't get me wrong I don't think there's anything wrong or shameful about having it. It's just not THE thing I'd want to be known for.
