Re: Muggle Headcanons are fucking idiotic.

There's been a couple that I liked- like, I liked the idea someone posted about a student in later years creating an app to help memorize what spells are what, and have which wand movements. I don't like the idea of electronics working at Hogwarts, but that's the sort of thing that could be used by muggleborns when they're home for holidays/Christmas/etc. I liked it.

The others, like the shouting memes, and stuff.... Eh, not so much.

The internet meme ones are overdone and the Wifi/electronics at Hogwarts is just non canon.

But I like the ones where muggleborns use their knowledge to help the wizard world. Like the one about them developing programs to help wizards with mental illness and disabilities.

And you know what? People might laugh at me for this but, I do like the idea of people who step ion the wizard world, but don't abandon what they know. I always imagine creative ways to use magic to enhance technology and other creative things. Using it to make my pictures move and animate my figures.

I think it's kinda silly to think that one always has to choose the wizard world over the muggle world. and there's nothing boring about people imagining ways to creatively combine them.

I'm sorry, I know you're being serious, and this was a good comment, but all my brain went to at this line "animate my figures" was magic DnD.

Which would be so cool.

But yeah, that's why I like the app idea: as long as it wasn't used in Hogwarts, it would be an interesting way for Muggle-borns to keep up with their studies over breaks, I think.

I'm super glad that wifi/electronics at Hogwarts is non-canon. I mean, J. K. Rowling couldn't have anticipated smartphones when she was writing the books, but I feel like smart phones in Hogwarts-proper might just end up being ridiculous.

I like your ideas. :)

Thanks

I also like to think that a spell to make things bigger outside than on the inside (like the tents) applied to electronics could have every interesting outcomes. (Infinite drive space, for example)

Oooh, interesting. Would muggle computers be able to read those drives? Or would that be something where you'd need a computer that was made wizarding-compatible? Or maybe some sort of adapter would be possible?
