Oh man, that would have been amazing.

One of the things that I dislike about ST was the tendency to generalize an entire species. We hardly ever saw Klingons who weren't warriors. Bajorans got some complexity, and Cardassians a little, but the major races were kind of one-trait people. I'd have love it if they met some Klingons who were like, "no, that's just Worf, he's weird and we think he's overcompensating a bit."

But it would make sense, though. Worf was a bit of an atypical Klingon anyway.

It is a shame we don't get that much inside info on some races. Man, what if Klingons had some sort of anti-war hippie movement. I'd seriously pay to watch that.

Yes!

Or just a contingent of sewer cleaners and engineers and armour technicians who felt that their jobs were no less honourable than that of a warrior, given that without their work and expertise, one couldn't have an elite class of warriors in the first place.

We got to see this a bit with a Klingon scientist in the excellent fourth season of Enterprise - he was very sad about how these days all the kids want to be warriors, and how all the other professions are now looked down on.

And there was the guy who ran the Klingon Restaurant, he never talked much but he played the accordian once... so that was cool.

There was also the time where Worf was accused of destroying a civilian transport full of Klingons from all walks of life.

This is the first I've heard of Enterprise being any good at all. I gave up after the silly War on Turr plotlines and the horrible opening music.

I muted the theme music but also gave up during the OMG FLORIDA season. But season 4 had new show runners and was infinitely better than before, except for the last episode which was written by the old show runners.
