Re: Tales of the Abyss
(Anonymous) 2014-12-18 02:12 am (UTC)(link)Anise's story was so sad that I didn't really end up shipping her with anyone. (The clones, ughhh) I did a google search and found some cute fanart. Don't know about fanfic!

(Anonymous) 2014-12-18 02:26 am (UTC)(link)Her story was really sad. :( I adore her. I do feel like she came to care about Luke a lot as an actual person, and Luke forgiving her for what happened with Ion was really really huge for her. So...weh. I'm glad there's at least a little bit of art! I might have to write fic myself, though...

Re: Tales of the Abyss
(Anonymous) 2014-12-18 03:24 am (UTC)(link)Anything is better than Legendia! It's crazy how popular those are. And I mean, I absolutely love the dynamics between Jade, Peony, Dist, and Nephry (the whole Keterburg sidestory was basically my favorite one), but I just feel like Jade and Peony are just hellishly inappropriate best friends and...well, there's just too much love lost, as it were, between Jade and Dist. I really don't feel like Dist is cripplingly in love with Jade like most people do, I think he's cripplingly in love with their childhood (and their professor), and Jade was the catalyst of either reclaiming or destroying it. So of course he's obsessed. And on Jade's part, I think he sort of feels responsible for Dist turning out the way he did, while in no way absolving or forgiving him of the crimes he's committing. I just can't see that as a ship.
