Do you enjoy proficient, comedic writing that occasionally espouses science and philosophy?

If so, then yes.

What I'm trying to say is it's not serious fantasy. It is the antithesis of serious fantasy. It's not going to go all dark and gritty for shock value or try to convince you that the author has IMPORTANT THINGS to say. If that's what you're looking for in your fantasy novels, then Discworld probably isn't for you.

It's very good though.
